Product Introduction:
The 2424D HDD Duplicator supports for all 2.5”/ 3.5” PATA & SATA HDD.
It offers PATA & SATA to USB 2.0 interface for connecting with PC or notebook.
The design is simple and easy to install and use hard drives.
It provides the USB 2.0 high speed of 480Mbps to reach best data-storage
performance.
2424D has two system modes: one mode is Duplicator mode which has
Copy/Compare/Pre-scan/Erase, another mode is Raid mode which has
Raid0/Raid1/Normal/JBOD. It can usage stand alone without PC in
Duplicator mode.
Display is very easy to catch your sight and definitely offers a convenient and
economical way for portable storage solution.
Make perfect copies/backups of entire hard disk drives or access your drives
via USB 2.0 connection to your computer and set up a RAID 0, RAID 1, JBOD
(Spanning) or Normal disk configuration.
This essential tool for building, upgrading and backing up computer systems
requires no computer to run, eliminating the need to tie up a computer for hours
running complex software to duplicate hard disk drives.
Additionally, this fully-featured duplicator gives you total control with

Notice:
1. The capacity of target hd must equal to or bigger than the resource hd.
if you press the backup button more than 5 seconds,
and the LED not light, means it don't meet the requirement.
2. After the hdd duplication start, all data in the target hd would be formatted,
please backup the data before do it.
3. About the duplication speed, in theory, its transfer speed is 60-80MB/s,
after we test, for a 80GB hdd, it takes about 25 minutes to finish the
duplication. so the speed is about 3500MB per minute.
4. The duplication time depends on the capacity of hard disk, has nothing
to do with the data in the hdd. for a 1TB hdd,
the duplication time is about 312.5 minutes, about 5.2 hours.
